    Review by hotel critic

    During my brief stay at New Hotel De Lives, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room in the newer building. However, the soft beds didn't quite suit my taste. The location is ideal for those traveling by car, with easy access to Namur and Charleroi airport. The friendly staff, including a Dutch-speaking receptionist, added a nice touch to my stopover.One of the highlights was the excellent restaurant - a definite must-visit even if not staying at the hotel. The Liegeusoie Meatballs were a delectable treat. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the motorway made it a convenient choice for a quick overnight stay during travels.While the room lacked some furniture, it had all the essential amenities, and the free parking was a bonus. The value proposition here is reasonable, considering the convenient location and impeccable service at the restaurant. New Hotel De Lives offers a good balance between luxury and affordability for travelers passing through the area.
